Invitation for Prequalification: Contract work of Dhaka Mass Rapid Transit Development Project (Line-5): 28-08-2023

The Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as "the Employer") now

intends to prequalify firms for the design, manufacturing, installation, test and commissioning,

rectification of defects (if any) during Defects Notification Period specified in the Contract of

railway E&M system of MRT Line-5N. MRT Line-SN is a metro railway system with a length

of approximately 20.0 km, out of which 6.5 km is a total of two (2) elevated sections and 13.5

km il an underground section, and passes through Dhaka City from the west to the east. The

depot and workshop are located at Hemayetpur, Savar upazila (sub-district) of Dhaka City. The

BSIVI system procured in this Bid is comprised of signaling system, telecommunication system,

electrification system, platform screen doors, and enterprise resource management system,

including their necessary spare parts. The Bidders are required to have a sufficient experience of

executing similar works of railway E&M system. Packaging of this Project is described in Sub-

Clause 1.1.2 of the Section VI, Works Requirements.
